My name is Jayda Bernes, I am a holistic nutrition consultant. I took my schooling at CSNN in Vancouver, receiving my diploma in natural nutrition. In my practice I focus on addressing all aspects of my clients life that may be contributing to imbalances and dis-ease in the body. When working with clients I help them learn to listen to their body’s signals, implement healthy habits and uncover the root cause of their health concerns.

I am so excited to be a part of the team here at Naturopathie Integrative Clinic. I love getting the opportunity to collaborate with a team of health practitioners to support our clients together as they achieve balance.

When I was growing up I was always taught to focus on the whole picture in regards to my health and well-being. I couldn’t be more grateful for the insight and wisdom I was given at such a young age. This allowed me to continue asking questions, looking for answers and thinking outside the box.

When I started to experience my own hormonal imbalances, acne, digestive issues and chronic fatigue, I turned to holistic nutrition. After I began making changes within my own life, I started seeing results that lasted. It’s a privilege to have the connections to help people reach their goals and become the healthiest version of themselves.

I am passionate about naturopathic medicine and the holistic approach it offers to patient care. For me, being a naturopath means more than just treating symptoms; it involves being an educator, coach, and motivator in my patients’ health journeys. I believe in empowering my patients with knowledge about their health so they can make informed decisions. I see myself as a guide, helping them navigate various treatment options and lifestyle changes to achieve optimal health. My practice focuses on fertility, women’s health from adolescence to menopause, digestive health, and family medicine. I am dedicated to inspiring individuals and families to improve their health through natural therapies and evidence-based practices. My approach integrates traditional naturopathic techniques with contemporary medical insights, allowing me to address the root causes of health issues, create personalized treatment plans, and educate on preventative medicine. I use a range of therapies, including lifestyle counselling, clinical nutrition, supplementation, herbal medicine, acupuncture, and injection therapy. Patient care, to me, is about building a strong, trusting relationship with each individual and understanding their unique needs and goals. I strive to create a supportive and compassionate environment where my patients feel heard, valued, and motivated to take charge of their health. Witnessing their transformation and seeing them thrive is incredibly rewarding and fuels my passion for naturopathic medicine every day. I earned my Doctor of Naturopathy from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, where I also completed training in cosmetic acupuncture. I am a registered member of the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta..

Hello, my name is Tania! I am a Registered Acupuncturist and based on my own experience with chronic headaches and migraines, I know how powerful acupuncture can be to provide relief. My experience with acupuncture was so profound that I decided to return to school and study to become an Acupuncturist. Throughout my education at Pacific Rim College in Victoria, BC, I was continually amazed at how effective acupuncture is and by the elegance of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

When needles are inserted into various acupoints, these points become activated and prompt the body into energetic changes which promote a healing balance. Nothing is injected into the body nor is there a surgical component – only super-fine acupuncture needles. Patients of all ages may benefit which makes acupuncture truly sustainable.

Throughout my studies, I learned many techniques to use alongside acupuncture such as Cupping, Moxibustion, Gua Sha and Tui Na. My favourites are Gua Sha and Ontake Moxa Rolling because they yield such amazing results for pain, and I tend to utilize these techniques in most of my treatments. I also learned during my studies, the Mei Zen System of Cosmetic Acupuncture. This is another one of my favorite treatments because in addition to the facial rejuvenation aspect, the body is also being treated. As such, acupuncture is a natural and sustainable medicine that may be used for health and beauty.

My journey to naturopathic medicine was shaped by years working across both conventional and holistic healthcare. I began my career as a laboratory technologist, then transitioned into clinical practice as a registered homeopath — a role that deepened my appreciation for individualized, root-cause medicine. Each step in my continuing education, from manual osteopathic techniques to natural nutrition and beyond, deepened my sense that the full scope of naturopathic medicine was where I was meant to practise.

I completed my naturopathic training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, where rigorous evidence-informed practice is integrated with the foundational principles of naturopathic philosophy. My clinical placement on the complex chronic disease shift at the Schad Naturopathic Clinic in Toronto refined my ability to navigate multifaceted health presentations with both precision and care.

At the heart of my practice is a deep respect for the patient–doctor relationship. I am committed to creating an environment where patients feel genuinely heard, and where clinical decision-making is collaborative, thoughtful, and grounded in each person’s unique circumstances.

I have a particular interest in supporting patients managing autoimmune conditions, cardiovascular health, diabetes, MCAS, fibromyalgia, post-viral syndrome, and those navigating or recovering from cancer treatments.

At the age of 17, I had a glimpse of my future as a healer, with the vision of treating the body, mind, and spirit: the whole person. It took some time before I was introduced to Naturopathic medicine but the connection was instantaneous. After completing a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education degree, I moved to Toronto to attend the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, one of two accredited colleges in Canada. Graduating valedictorian of my class while starting a family, I felt compelled to move back to Alberta, where there is a need for naturopaths. The natural fit was Beaumont, a city with a small town feel, which respects its past while embracing a vibrant future, much like naturopathic medicine.

Naturopathic medicine is about finding the root cause of dis-ease, and working with the body’s ability to heal itself by supporting it. Together with my patients, we put together a plan that fits their needs and respects their values, whether it’s using nutrition, exercise, supplemental vitamins and minerals, herbal medicine, acupuncture, injection therapies, intravenous (IV) therapy, or other modalities.

Having a family practice, it is important to me to ensure that each member of the family can experience optimal health. I enjoy working to correct digestion, hormones (for both men and women), energy, stress, and any concerns that arise for children. In my training in naturopathic school, I trained under one of the pillars of the naturopathic oncology community and have a strong interest in assisting cancer patients from the beginning of cancer diagnosis, throughout treatment, and into prevention of recurrence or progression.

It is my goal for no one to feel like they are beyond help. You have the ability to heal, and you can create your health by taking this first step. I can’t wait to be a part of your healing journey.
